Of the rings of Power Edit
Afther Morgoth was overthrown Sauron went to Eönwë and took a shape fair and wise for repentant but it was not in Eönwë's power to forive Sauron and he commanded Sauron to leave middle-earth and return to Aman. But Sauron was ashamed and didn't want to return to Aman because Sauron's rank under Morgoth was great and in Aman he must start over from a lower rank. Thus he fled and went into hiding.
When Sauron discovered the men of the south and the east he already started to corrupt them. But he desired more to bring the elves under his influence. So he appeared for the elves with the name Annatar, lord of gifts and told them he was a messanger of the valar. Elrond and Gil-galat the rulers of Lindon didn't trust Sauron and he never was allowed there. But in Eregion he was gladly received. Sauron aided the elves of Eregion in there smith-crafting and his wishdom was great and through manipulation he succeeded that the elves created the rings of power.
But in secret Sauron created in Morder a master ring to rule them all from the burning mauntain. With the One ring he could speak into the mind of the bearers of the ring of powers. But when he put the ring on it they felt his pressence and discovered who he was and his plans. Thus his attemp to dominate the elves failed. He declared open war upon them and that all the rings must be given to him but the rings where already hidden. A big war came between the forces of Eregion and Sauron's forces and Eregion was destroyed and gathered most of the rings of powers except the 3 most powerfull.
Then Sauron give 7 rings of power to the dwarves. But the dwarves where proven to hard and tough to tame. He give 9 to men who became immortal and powerfull and they became the greatest of their kind for a time. But it also became there undoing and they slowly turned in the nazgul the most terrible servants of Sauron.
Sauron now declared himself king of men and lord of the earth. He gathered all the remaining forces of the former army of Morgoth wich include Orcs, Trolls and Fell beasts. But the citizen of Númenor got offenden by this and captured Sauron to Númenor. Sauron by cunning and scheming succeeded to turn the Númeróreans agianst the valar of the west. But the valar's wrath was terrible and they sunk Númenor beneath the sea. Sauron's body was destroyed but his spirit survived and was heavenly damaged and he could never take a fair shape agian.
When Sauron's spirit returned he saw that the survivers of the sinking of Númenor had build severeal cities including Arnor and Gondor and Minas Ithil. Sauron waged war agianst the elves and the men of the west. He began by attacking Minas Ithil and destroyed the white tree but Isildur escaped. He later attacked Osgiliath but failed the first time and was reinforcing. But the leader of Osgiliath Anarion had asked help and Elendin king of the western people and Gil-galat decided to work together and they created the last alliances of men and elves.
The last alliance led there forces during the battle of Dagorlad on the plains for Mordor and the forces of Gil-galat where victorious. They besieged Morder with took 7 years. At the end Sauron himself came out and he fought Gil-galat and Elendin and won but sauron himself was also trown down and Isildur picked op Narsil and cut the ring of his finger claiming it as his own.
